Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
Customer and Business ExpectationsWe as a business are committed to your comfort and safety throughout your time with us.We have a few guidelines in place to ensure your journey is as comfortable and safe as possible.
No food or drink.Please refrain from eating and drinking in the vehicle.We ask that no hot food/takeaways/cans are to be consumed or left in the vehicle. However, we do allow the usage of non-spillable containers such as sippy cups, hot cups and bottled drinks. Please notify the driver of any mess or spillages as soon as is possible. (Please note that if the vehicle is deemed unfit for use a soiling fee of £100.00 will be charged.)Rubbish sacks will be provided for your use.
No feet on Seats.Please refrain from resting feet on additional empty seats. Thank you.
Seat belts MUST be worn at all times.Seat belts must be worn at all times, unless medically exempt.We cannot be held responsible for any incidents that should occur through failure to remain belted.
Behaviour.For driver and passenger safety we ask that your whole party behaves in a responsible manner. We ask that distraction to the driver is kept to a minimum.Violence and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. If this should occur whilst in transit your journey will be immediately terminated, you will be asked to exit the vehicle and the relevant authorities will be notified. You will not be subject to any reimbursement for the remaining journey.
No smoking or vaping at any time.For everybody’s comfort and safety we ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping inside the vehicle. Upon request breaks can be arranged please notify the driver at time of pick up. Please ensure you factor this in within your travel time as we cannot be held responsible for any delay to your journey.
No standing.Please remain seated at ALL times whilst the vehicle is in motion. In case of an emergency please notify the driver immediately.
Additional Charges.We wish to give our customers the best experience possible, and cleanliness is important to us. We provide litter bin and sick buckets for your comfort and ask that they are used.If in the case of (but not limited to) vomiting, urinating or extreme spillages we deem the vehicle unfit for it’s next use a soiling fee of £80.00 will be charged.
Safety and fire In the event of breakdown please follow drivers’ instructions.We will take you to the nearest safest available place and will make arrangement for the continuation of your journey at no additional cost.In the event of fire please remain calm and exit the vehicle as quickly as possible and follow the drivers’ instructions. We will take you to the nearest safest available place and arrange the continuation of your journey at no additional charge.
Car seats.Our vehicle is isofix and seatbelt compatible.We ask that customers provide and fit their own child restraints.We are unable to provide any child restraint for your journey and cannot be held responsible for any fitting or removal of child restraints. We are however able to store your child restraint system ready for your return journey at no additional cost. Please arrange at time of booking. Cancellation PolicyThe passenger has the right to cancel their journey up to 24 hours prior to travel. Notice can be given through our usual contact methods.If cancelled on the day of travel 50% of fare will still be payable. If cancelled by Davison’s Classics a refund will be made in full.
As a family run business we understand that safety is paramount. For extra piece of mind our vehicle is fitted with fire safety equipment. Our driver is fully licensed, insured and DBS verified.
